Andrea Fernandes has been a freelance photographer for over 20 years, specializing in portraiture, documentary, model portfolios and conceptual photo shoots. Her work has been presented in gallery exhibits from 2002 - 2017 in Rhode Island, Georgia and New York, and she has also been featured in publications such as The Viking Newspaper and the SCAD Connector. Andrea's style of photography is humanistic and emotional in nature, striving to achieve a connection with each of her subjects. She is well versed in studio lighting techniques, and uses her skills to add drama and mood to her imagery. Andrea is also particularly talented in analog Large Format fine-art portraiture photography, utilizing an antique 100 year old 8x10 view camera her portraits have vivid emotion and depth. Additionally, Andrea has a focused view of documentary style work, achieving a subtle presence while shooting events and assignments with a  photojournalistic perspective.
